Kia Motors Corporation headquartered in Seoul, is South Korea's second-largest automobile manufacturer, following the Hyundai Motor Company, with sales of over 2.7 million vehicles in 2012 and almost 2.75 million vehicles in 2013.[5] As of December 2013, the company is 33.88% owned by the Hyundai Motor Company.

The Stinger traces its roots to the GT Concept from the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show and the Kia GT4 Stinger from the 2014 North American International Auto Show. Designed by Peter Schreyer and Gregory Guillaume (Kia's Chief Designer) at Kia's European studio in Frankfurt and engineered by former BMW M Vice President of Engineering Albert Biermann, the car was unveiled at the 2017 North American International Auto Show. Biermann is now the executive vice president of performance development and high performance vehicles of the Hyundai Motor Group.
According to Guillaume, the Stinger's design was partially inspired by the Coca-Cola bottle. During an interview, he offered the following comment of the car's purpose. "The new Kia Stinger is a true gran turismo, a car for spirited long distance. It's not about outright power, hard-edged dynamics and brutal styling all at the expense of luxury, comfort and grace. The Stinger has nothing to do with being the first to arrive at the destination—this car is all about the journey."
Testing of the car involved over 1,000 kilometres (620 mi) at the Korea International Circuit and 10,000 kilometres (6,200 mi) at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
For the Korean market, the Stinger wears a unique 'E' badge, which symbolizes the core theme of "Engineered by Excellence".

In 2009, Kia revealed its first two-door coupe at the New York International Auto Show, the Forte Koup. The car looks appealing, having a sporty and aggressive design due to the air intakes and its lower stance. It comes in two trim levels, EX and SX, the SX offering 17-inch alloy wheels instead of the standard of 16-inch.
The Koup is shorter in both length and height than the sedan, but still has 5 passenger seats. The Forte EX is driven by a 2.0L DOHC engine with 156HP,while the SX comes with a 2.4L engine with 173HP. For this model, two transmission options are available: a standard 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic (for the EX). The SX offers two options, a 6-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic.

The Cee'd was designed in Frankfurt, Germany, with Miklós Kovács leading the design team,[3] while the concept car was designed by Pontus Fontaeus. The cee'd is developed on the same platform as the Hyundai i30. The first generation was available with a choice of four engines (two petrol and two diesel), five trim levels and either manual or automatic transmission.
There were three trim levels available: LX, EX, TX. The flagship TX trim was equipped with semi leather seats, Michelin 225/45 tires with 17 inch alloy wheels and rear parking sensors. All versions have six airbags as standard, active front headrests, height-adjustable headrests, pretensioners, ESP, electronic traction control, ABS, EBD, BA, and a reinforced structure of the cabin. Upon release on the market, the warranty is one of the most extensive and longest in Europe with seven years or 150,000 km for the powertrain and five years for the entire vehicle.
